I took the GRE (Graduate Record Examination) today. It was 4 hours long and very difficult for me. I didn't prepare as well as I should have, but I did get some studying in and had some idea of what to expect. Still, I struggled with the exam.

The writing section was easier than the other sections, but I won't find out how I did on that part until later. I couldn't remember how to do most of the math problems, and had difficulty with the antonyms (for words I didn't even know!) and word associations (also for words I didn't know). I am so thankful for the exam to be finished. Unfortunately, I'll need to take it again at some time because I didn't score very well. :(

Now that we're having a baby I won't be trying to get into Graduate school for a while. I was planning to get my Master of Arts degree in Elementary Education, but that's on hold for now. When the time comes to try again, then I will need to take a GRE preparation course for a chance at better scores so I can get into the program I want.
