Love is in the air

Monday, February 11, 2008

For Family Home Evening we talked about showing love for others because Valentine's Day is coming up on Thursday.

Our activity was decorating tissue boxes to be our "Love Boxes". For the week, we could write notes or make cards and put them in another family member's love box. The children really enjoyed this, and were excited when they could add their valentine's cards from classmates to their boxes. Jason also got into the activity and typed nice notes for each person in the family.

I love you!

Thursday, February 14, 2008 Happy Valentine's Day!

Jason surprised Carmel and took her to lunch at Olive Garden. The food was delicious--as usual! Jason took a while to get to his main dish (Shrimp Primavera) because he ate all of the salad (Carmel had soup). Then Jason couldn't finish his food because he was too full. Carmel ate all of her soup, one breadstick, and all of her maindish (Seafood Alfredo)! She even ordered dessert (Black Tie Moussecake), but could only finish half before she had to put the rest away for later.
