This picture shows the first flower (picture taken on 5/20/08), but now there are 2 blossoms that will hopefully turn into beans.

If you read a previous post about Gardening, then you know that Hokulani has been growing a lima bean plant. She faithfully waters her plant every day, twice.

Gardening

In Hokulani's Kindergarten class they talked about plants. Hokulani was so excited to bring home a lima bean that she was supposed to plant. We found a spot in the front of the house and Hokulani planted the bean herself. She diligently waters her lima bean, and here we have pictures of her plant as it has grown. It's nice to see Hokulani so excited about growing something herself.
