At Walker Elementary School, the Second Grade classes had a Fairy Tale Ball. We were notified at the beginning of the year so we could plan Halloween costumes around the Medieval theme of the ball, if desired. Hokulani was anxious for the Ball, because they had been practicing dances (circle dance, box step dance), and songs to perform for the parents. Mom curled Hokulani's hair in a ponytail, then Hokulani put on her pretty dress. She had a great time at the Ball and did a great job dancing, etc.
